Western Australia is one of the most remote parts of the world. We are closer to Antarctica than the East Coast of Australia.
Bridgetown is in the South West of the state 275 km. South of Perth. A charming town, full of local history, nestled in a river valley with about 2,500 residents. Primarily mixed farming and now starting to produce very fine wines. The Southwest first gained a huge reputation internationally for its fine wines from Margaret River and Pemberton.
Bridgetown is the gateway to the tall timber forests of Pemberton and the South Coast region. If you are visiting the State, a journey down south will definitely inspire and fill your trip with some of Australia's best kept geographical secrets.
